Faculty of Public Health and Environment, Pathumthani University realized that the health population issues is concerned in many sectors and its priority issue to reduce the problems. In additional, trend of Thai Public health are changed, especially Aseptic or Chronic disease that came from the health behaviors. As a result, the government has lost more budget to spend on the public health care. In point of fact, health problems are preventable problems. As a result, the public health service guidelines have been adapted to proactive strategies that focus on health promotion and disease control by integrated to the community and population are involved in preventing, monitoring and maintaining their own health problems themselves. Based on the analysis of society’s needs for public health courses by collecting data from health sectors and the results of meeting with experts from the institution of Public Health and Ministry of Public Health, It was found that society needs graduates in public health, for this reason, it is necessary to produce graduates in this field to meet the needs of society and to provide adequate public health personnel to solve problems and enhance public health. This will lead to a healthy population.
The Four-year program is divided into eight modules as below:
